Recently I sent Rosanne Cash a dorky fan letter (email) telling her how much her album The Wheel -written during and after her long-term marriage broke up - is helping me get through the end of my own 13 year relationship. Wonder of wonders, she actually wrote me back telling me in a brief note to keep the faith and know that someday I won’t feel so sad all the time. I was a huge fan before. Now I’m an uber-fan ;-)
