Today is election day in my adopted hometown of Knoxville, TN, and we will be electing our first new mayor in 16 years. Our newspaper of record, the Knoxville News Sentinel (KNS) has clearly favored Republican, old-Knoxville-money-family candidate Bill Haslam (who seems like an honest, nice guy, even if I don’t agree with some of his politics) over progressive candidate Madeleine Rogero.

In the front page story on today’s election in the online version of KNS today, there is a “related links” section with hyperlinks to various election related stuff. Interestingly, one of the “related links” is Bill Haslam’s official campaign website. Rogero’s site gets nary a mention. This seems like a pretty bold “oversight” to me.
