I don’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don’t want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don’t want to do that.

Jon wants to know.

It’s true that C. is suddenly more aware of the world around her, yet she’s still largely unable to make her body do what she would like it to do. She can’t yet roll over or sit up or even reliably connect hand-to-toy-to-mouth without assistance. But she’s sure she wants to do these things and frankly, it’s making her more than a little annoyed.

ExerSaucer!!!! My 5 month old neice LOVES her.

Jenny Says:

Ditto (except for the “neice” part), and the doorway jumper (Johnny Jump Up?), and the walker.

Honey Says:

When our boy was 5-8 months old he was going all over the house in his walker. He made his rounds of all the rooms in the house and visited pretty things like silk flowers and other decorations. He couldn’t reach anything, because of the tray in front, although once he ran over the cat food and made a mess! He had a great incentive to learn to crawl so he could grab objects and get into things.

Rachel Says:

Bumbo seats made the last little one pretty happy…everything only lasts for a little while at that age!!

ROTATION!!!

What we would do is 5-10 floor time, then excersaucer, then bouncy seat and by then she/he would be well fed and tired and fall out! Babies that age usually don’t stay awake more than 2-3 hours. Make sure she’s getting tummy time as well when on the flour. We also did those things that are like a tent or some deal that has toys that hang over as they lay down on the ground…loved it!
