I don’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don’t want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don’t want to do that.

So after MONTHS of trying to figure out which one to buy…..

I still can’t quite decide.

So convince me. What do you love/hate about your gadget? Which one should I go with?

I covet an iphone. I love apple products. So I am biased. But neither one of these devices is in my future any time soon. I really don’t need one. But I love my ipod.

When I got my very first Blackberry, I loved it. Over time I stopped. The first model I had contained lots and lots of bugs that RIM couldn’t seem to make right. I had the entire handset replaced about four or five times in three years. No camera; that was a bummer. Pretty bad network coverage.

I DID like my second model of Blackberry. Not as many bugs and color screen. Still no camera. Doing what I do, I really need a camera so I had to carry two things around the building a lot. More ringtones. Better coverage.

Third Blackberry was worst than the first. Horrible service, lots of bugs, and no camera. Replaced it with a new handset after four months due to problems with email. (Major issue for my work.) Purchased an HTC Mogul the next day and haven’t looked back.

I doubt I will return to RIM. The Blackberry was definitely ahead of its time but it hasn’t moved along with technology.

I went with the Mogul over the iPhone for only two reasons, though. First I wasn’t switching service carriers; my company pays for this one and switching would also mean switching maintenance guys AND buying them new phones. No way. Second I write a LOT of email when I’m out of my office. My Mogul has the slide-out keyboard and I wasn’t sure whether it would be as easy to type on an iPhone.

I walked up to a stranger in Subway and asked to see his Mogul; that’s what really sold me on it. Find friends who have them and just play with the features. You’ll figure out which you prefer.

iPhone. Been lusting after one for quite awhile. Now a few friends of mine have them they just can’t stop raving. I’ll be getting one in October, as an anniversary present. I’ve been counting down the days!

I want to stay with Verizon so I can’t get an iphone until they open it up to other providers.

I love verizon, so I won’t switch just for the iphone, but I would go with the iphone. I just recently switched from palm treo to blackberry curve and am loving it.

Leigh Says:

yeah, verizon is the only reason that I don’t have an iphone. But man, I WANT one SO BAD. Steve Jobs is my hero:)
