I don’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don’t want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don’t want to do that.

I have returned from the inaugural biz trip - and my first night away from baby. Unfortunately, Jon says the overnight hours didn’t go so well.

I thought I might sleep like a coma patient last night - the first uninterrupted night of sleep I would have since about 8 months pregnant with C. But alas, after a 16 hour day, I was too wired watching the DNC speeches to drift off easily, so I stayed up too late and slept fitfully.

Tonight is our OBAMARAMA speech-watching party. I have work to complete this afternoon, and then I hope to revive enough to enjoy the political revelry with fam and friends later this evening. E. has requested red velvet cupcakes for the occasion.
